Charlotte is the coordinating manager of HITLAB, AI Lab and Energy Lab. Charlotte is responsible for networking with companies and organizations, monitoring and coordinating projects, and managing the different project teams. Charlotte obtained a master's degree in educational sciences (UGent), and a master-after-master in international business economics and policy (KU Leuven). She pursued a joint doctoral degree in pedagogical and computer sciences at KU Leuven and Université de Lille.

Arthur has graduated as an AI Engineer from Howest and hired as an AI Engineer after a successful internship at HITLAB. He primarily does a lot of backend work, for example in Python and C#. He ensures that every project has access to a database, API, real-time streaming, and data processing.He also creates dashboards so that our researchers can easily view and use data in their research.

Health Tech Senior Researcher

Gudrun Nys is a researcher and neuropsychologist. She is department head of a rehabilitation unit at CAR Overleie for patients with acquired brain damage. During her PhD and postdoc research at Utrecht University and Ghent University, Gudrun developed a special interest in cognitive and visual assessment and rehabilitation after stroke. At HITLab, she leads the XRehab project, a TETRA initiative dedicated to implementing XR technology in the rehabilitation sector.
